A CHRISTMAS CAROL

This is Dickens' own version of "A Christmas Carol" that he read for evening performances from its publication in December 1843 until his death in 1870. "A Christmas Carol was immensely popular in 1843. Eight stage productions had been put in to production within two months of the book’s publication.
